Once again we welcome you to the Heald Green Festival, which provides a family fun afternoon for all the community. Any money raised is used for the benefit of local groups in Heald Green and to stage next year’s Festival. This year the parade will be inside the field, as red tape and safety issues have driven us from the roads. The Oldham Pipe Band will lead the children’s parade around the field at 12.30pm. Anyone can join the parade, whether in fancy dress or not, just follow the band!
The Festival will start at 12.00 noon and have the usual attractions and stalls, including Punch and Judy, go-karts, inflatables, funfair, land train, sponsored by Heald Green Pharmacy, BodyZorbing, donkey rides, Surfing, BBQ, and other refreshments, bar and food stalls. Entertainment will be in the field arena, the entertainment marquee and the Hall, including Mart Rodgers’ Jazz Band, Stockport Silver Band, The Panamas, formerly known as Searching for the Enemy, Step Ahead Dancers and the Oldham Pipe Band. Our local junior footballers will again be playing to win the Festival Shield and the Mayor of Stockport will present the shield and medals at 3.00pm with the Grand Draw being at 4pm.
Thanks go to the organisers, stall holders, advertisers, entertainers, the Air Training Corps, Wilmslow, and those who donated prizes for the draw. It’s your Festival so come along, support the community groups, join in the fun and enjoy the afternoon.

Free parking is provided on the field.
Please do not park on the roads which can cause a problem for buses and other road users. Please take care when entering and exiting the site. Dogs must be kept on a lead during the Festival.
