The Festival will be taking place one week today on the 29th June and early weather reports are looking favourable!
The Festival really starts when the procession leaves the Village Hall at 1pm for the Grand Fancy Dress Parade around Heald Green Village.
Festival Timetable:
1pm Parade leaves Village Hall
2pm Mayor of Stockport Arrives
2.15pm Presentation of art prizes by the Mayor
2.30-3.45pm Entertainment on the field will include:
- The Phoenix Morris Dance Troupe
- Punch and Judy
- Oldham Pipe Band
- Natalie Bates’ Dancers
- Jeon-Sa Taekwondo Demonstration
- Bolshaw Cheerleaders
- Stockport Silver Band
- Outwood Steel Band
- Heald Green Community Choir
2pm-3.40pm Entertainment in the hall will include:
- Stockport Silver Band
- Mart Rodgers’ Jazz Band
3.45pm Presentation of Festival Shield and Football tournament medals
4pm Festival Grand Draw
